Audition Dates: Monday Aug. 30 @ 7pm - Tuesday Aug. 31 @ 4pm and 7pm

Ages highschool-adult, male and female, singing and non-singing roles for a large cast musical adventure-comedy.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Being part of a Lampost production not only entails the normal stage experience, but the opportunity to be part of a creative community experience.

 

  
Auditions are very informal and fun. No acting preparation is needed. For singing, be prepared to sing one of the following familiar songs (we will provide accompaniment):

- Amazing Grace
- Edelweiss
- My Favorite Things
- A Whole New World

*NOTE: Not all cast members are required to be singers.

About the Play...

Pyrates is a delightful musical-comedy adventure that utilizes a double plot. One story follows the life and adventures of Mary Reed, a true-life female pirate. The other story follows a modern-day community in the midst of its own identity crisis. When treasure from the past is linked with the community of the present, intrigue and mayhem ensue. In the end, we are taken on a journey of discovery about life, identity, and what lies at the heart of community and family.
